The latest addition to my Imperial Guard army are several Kasrkin Stormtroopers. So far I've completed one squad of 5. Let the deepstriking begin!
Hotshot Lasgunner. Here I used the same light source highlighting technique that I used on Colonel Straken's Plasma Pistol. Yellow light from the Hotshot Lasgun's flashlight casts a glow across the side of the weapon.
Upon completing a model I always finish with a strong coat of clear matte varnish.
I used Army Painter's inks for the first time to shade these models. I have to say it worked quite well. It settled into the recesses well and really made the highlights pop.
Here again I used a dry brush technique to provide highlighting where the flashlight casts light.
